The download file is just a GIF - the original files are PNG format: APNG, PNG sprite containing 120 frames and a zip archive containing 120 separate frame images.
I have used the sprite version in a custom MDM login screen for my own personal use, and it works very nicely in a HTML5 canvas element.
Unfortunately, this site would not let me upload the PNG files because they are over 1mb, so the files were uploaded to deviantART at http://philleft.deviantart.com
